Magnesium For Boosting Testosterone Levels

Studies have shown that reduction is testosterone levels in men today is a growing problem.

This has opened the market for testosterone boosters promising to help you boost your testosterone levels.

But rather than falling for every product that claims to be natural, you need to choose the right ingredient for your body.

Magnesium is a key mineral that provides a variety of benefits to the human body.

Low testosterone is associated with low levels of magnesium in the body.

So, it can be assumed that the dip in the magnesium in the body also decreases the production of testosterone.

The problem is getting common as people don’t get enough magnesium from dietary sources.

How does Magnesium help to boost Testosterone Levels?

When a person has a lack of protein in their diet, the body starts secreting more of the sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG).

As the SHBG concentration increases in the body, this hormone binds with testosterone making it unavailable for the body.

It has now been discovered that testosterone prefers binding to magnesium rather than SHBG.

This preserves the levels of testosterone in the body including the anabolic effects of this growth hormone.

Clinical Evidence

A study was conducted among 30 males aged 18 – 22 both sedentary and active.

After a regular dose of 10mg/kg magnesium for four weeks, it was seen that the participants experienced a significant increase in their testosterone levels.

Also, participants who worked out regularly got the maximum boost in their testosterone levels with magnesium supplementation.

One of the best supplements for testosterone is called Testogen.

So true about the magnesium . Also folks need the sun daily for Vitamin D3 . If you can’t get enough sun daily supplements should be considered , it just almost impossible getting enough through diet Alone. Sun is the best , your body receives it better all around for hormonal health as well as mood. If you lack mag. and D3 u ain’t running on a full tank for maximum potential for sure.
